Lets Talk Menopause...

The Menopause is due to a change in the body’s hormonal balance and is a natural part of getting older. It’s the result of a decline in the hormone Oestrogen and typically happens between the age of 45 and 55. Early menopause can occur at any age and in many instances, the cause is not clearly defined. Menopause can also be triggered by treatments such as surgical removal of the ovaries and other medical conditions. In the UK, the average age for a woman to reach the menopause is 51.
